Are you a reality tv addict? Or do you consider it a waste of time? Whether it’s your guilty pleasure or something you try to avoid, we will let you in on some behind the scenes secrets from people who have been there. Let’s just say reality television isn’t as real as you might think. Much of the drama on shows from Toddlers and Tiaras to Big Brother is completely manufactured by producers. The contestants on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette act like they want to find love, but nothing is spontaneous, and behind the scenes hookups happen far more often than you might think. We are not saying that Bear Grylls doesn’t have incredible survival skills, just that we don’t get to see them on Man vs. Wild. House Hunters on HGTV might be the fakest show we know of, since the people featured on it have to have already purchased a home before filming even starts. 1. Looks like I was actually paying attention to the video where as the rest of comment section wanted to critique her pronunciation just to leave a hateful comment. On a more related topic who ACTUALLY believes reality TV isn’t scripted.

  2. You have to have no brain to think anything you see on tv is real. The news channels no longer concern themselves with actual news reports.

  3. one of the episodes of the bachelor (or bachelorette idk) involved a horseback riding date and it was at a former friend’s farm. the girl couldn’t actually ride a horse for shit but his younger sister was about the same height and had a similar hair color so they filmed his sister doing a ton of tricks and jumps then said it was the contestant and got a reaction shot of the guy being amazed by it.
His sister was also was the person who rode the horse into the sunset with the guy at the end of the "date".

  4. Guys, c’mon, these TV shows are only made for entertainment. I can’t believe there are people who believe they’re real

  5. Stop putting ads mid video for god sake. Put it in the beginning or end. Or put it in a break in the dialogue such as before or after a segment ends or starts. Also egregious is not pronounced ah greg ree us. It is ah gree jus. Please. Check your words before using them. Or hire me as your editor and I will make all these problems moot and therefore making your videos more enjoyable and less egregious. Thank you.

  6. Egregious is pronounced Ee-gree-jus. Not Eh-greg-rious. Hyper-bowl??? What in the world…it’s high-per-bow-lee. Good grief.

  7. To the narrator with the very pleasing voice: Ok… I might have been able to overlook the need to say "verse-us" as "verse" — but do you only read a script and not know the words you read? I’ve never heard anyone say "hyper-bowl" instead of "hyper-bowl-E" — but it might make sense if you just read words and don’t bother to learn the ones you don’t know. So sad. And OMG — did you seriously say "e-greg-rious"? Really? You’ve never heard the word egregious — "e-gree-jus"? How did the producer not stop and correct you on these? Who’s running the circus over there… the clowns?

  8. It botherers me that she mispronounces words like Hyperbole and egregious. If you can’t pronounce a word then you probably shouldn’t be trying to use it..

  9. I know reality tv is fake because i saw how a tv show was made and they literally instruct people what to do and say so they ruined reality tv for me
